MessageLabs: Spammers use financial crisis

Consumers looking for financial information now have another hurdle to cross: search engine spam. Although not a new threat, MessageLabs Intelligence has found that spammers are now including links to search engines in their mailings which are focusing on the tough economic conditions facing consumers. The link then searches for the spammer's domain when consumers click on the link. >>

IAB asks for advertisers' input in new CPC guidelines

A new report from Utarget.Fox indicates that television ad campaign returns can be lengthened by including online video in the campaign. Mediacom Communications, a UK-based cable operator, partners with Utarget.Fox for the results. Researchers found that the combination of online and offline campaigns extended the reach of the campaign as a whole. >>
